When I first arrived in Japan without speaking Japanese, I quickly encountered the many hurdles international students face. From navigating daily life to adapting to a new culture, everything was that I needed to overcome. Now, as I enter my third year at university, my thoughts have turned to job-hunting in Japan. It is a process that initially felt overwhelming, with little information provided in English. Through JPort, however, I discovered invaluable insights about job-hunting in Japan. Beyond that, I’ve had the privilege of working with an incredible team dedicated to creating a truly borderless Japan, fostering opportunities and connections for students like me.

日本語を話せないまま日本に初めて来たとき、私はすぐに多くの留学生が直面するさまざまな困難に気づきました。日常生活を送ることや新しい文化に適応することなど、どれも乗り越えなければならない課題でした。現在、大学の3年生を迎え、日本での就職活動について考え始めました。しかし、最初は英語で提供される情報が少なく、圧倒されるように感じました。そんな中でJPortを通じて、日本での就職活動に関する貴重な知識を得ることができました。それだけでなく、留学生のための機会やつながりを促進し、真にボーダーレスな日本を目指して努力する素晴らしいチームと共に働くという貴重な経験をすることができました。
